What Does AC System Maintenance Include?
- AC System maintenance should include:
- Visual Inspection of all AC Components
- Testing Operation of Heating And Cooling
- Checking all Capacitor Readings and condition of capacitors
- Inspection of contactor
- Testing/Tightening of all electrical components and connections in equipment
- Inspection of High and Low Voltage Wiring
- Inspection of Disconnect. Tightening lugs in disconnect. Cleaning debris and bugs from disconnect.
- Drain Treatment/Flushing with installation of Slow-Dissipating algaecide pan treatment
- Testing of Water-Safety Devices on Unit and drain pan
- Checking Refrigerant Pressures
- Cleaning of exterior and interior Indoor Unit
- Cleaning Evaporator Coil/Straightening fins as needed
- Inspection of IAQ accessories
- Checking Filter Condition. Replacing Filter if necessary
